The fiscal year ending on July 31, 2023, witnessed remarkable results, with auction receipts totaling £119 million and a substantial 36% increase in turnover, reaching £45 million compared to the previous year.

Managing Director Adam Pye expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “These are incredible figures for our business.” He attributed the success to the team’s diligent efforts on high-profile projects, exceeding expectations for the period. Adam further announced the distribution of discretionary bonuses to colleagues in their November pay, following the family business’s payout of over £1.3 million last year. Notably, based on this year’s outstanding results, the John Pye board has approved the largest profit share in its history, amounting to £2 million. The accomplishment underscores the company’s sustained growth and financial success, building upon the achievements of the preceding year.
