Matt joined John Pye & Sons in 2013 after completing a masters degree in Marketing and Communications. He began his career in the marketing department, but with a passion to improve the efficiency of the auction process, Matt moved over to the IT department as a project manager. Matt oversaw many key IT transformations and with the success of these, Matt became the Head of IT and then further appointed as Associate Director.

Matt’s skills bridge the gap between the departments and the auction process using technology, whether that’s extracting key data from the wealth of information the auction platform provides, to bringing in new devices and processes to allow more efficient working at all levels of the business.
