Claire West appointed as legal counsel

We have expanded our in-house legal team with the appointment of Claire West as legal counsel. This move follows a period of sustained growth for the business and aligns with our ambitious expansion plans.

Based at the Nottingham head office, Claire will report to Rosalind Keen, head of legal. In her role, Claire will support legal requirements across the entire business, with a focus on commercial law. Her responsibilities include providing clarity on contracts, terms governing relationships, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and improving terms and conditions.

With 25 years of experience, Claire brings a wealth of legal knowledge to John Pye & Sons. Her background includes training at a national law firm, working in-house, and serving as a commercial law lecturer at Nottingham Trent Law School.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Claire stated, “It’s great to be joining the John Pye team. The business is going from strength-to-strength, and I’m looking forward to leveraging my legal experience to help take on some of the legal workload across all parts of the business.”

Rosalind Keen, head of legal at John Pye, emphasized the importance of Claire’s appointment in strengthening partnerships and improving operations as the business pursues its exciting growth journey.
