Charles Loake, Associate Director and Joint Head of Business & Property, has been appointed as a Director of the Turnaround Management Association UK (TMA). Following the footsteps of colleagues like Managing Director Adam Pye, Charles takes over from Trevor Palethorpe as he steps down from the board after a two-year tenure.

TMA, a global organization dedicated to business turnaround, recovery, and renewal, boasts around 10,000 members across 20 countries. Charles, with over 20 years of experience at John Pye & Sons, has provided valuation and sales advice on high-profile insolvencies, including Made.com and Phones4u Limited. As joint Head of Business Assets and Property, he is a Fellow of NAVA Propertymark and a member of NAEA Propertymark.

Charles, a regular host of the Annual UK Conference, expressed his enjoyment of being part of TMA. He sees joining the board as a natural progression, enabling him to connect with the nationwide market and contribute to the growth of TMA membership.

Paul Davies, President of TMA UK, expressed delight at Charles joining the board, noting John Pye & Sons’ and Charles’s strong support for TMA UK.
