John Pye are pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Burton to our Board of Directors.

Bruce, who joined the business as Financial Controller in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2023, will now take on a key leadership role within the independently owned group’s seven-member board.

A Chartered Accountant and active member of the ICAEW, Bruce has been instrumental in overseeing John Pye’s finance operations, ensuring audit compliance, managing payroll, and driving auction sales performance. In his expanded role, he will continue to lead financial strategy, with a focus on optimising cashflow, preparing forecasts for new business ventures, and aligning procurement decisions with the company’s commercial objectives.

Bruce’s appointment is a recognition of his exceptional contributions, financial expertise, and his commitment to enhancing operational efficiencies. Fellow Director, Trevor Palethorpe, commented: “Bruce has been pivotal in implementing continuous improvements across the finance team.
