Bruce, a Chartered Accountant and active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), joined John Pye in 2021. He was promoted to Associate Director in 2023 and appointed as Director in 2024.

Bruce oversees the running of the finance department and has 9 direct reports, preparing accounts for the board, managing procurement process and costs, audits of internal systems, and management of external audits in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.

Through his experience, Bruce has been key in implementing continuous improvement within the finance department, driving efficiencies, embracing software and automation, and building a team with the right skill set and the ability to continually develop. This has contributed to shorter reporting timescales, improved financial data and KPI reporting which have had a direct positive impact on the results of the company.
