Ann Pye is Shareholder and Director of John Pye & Sons and has held these positions for more than 30 years. Ann is a co-founder and former Secretary of the UK’s National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA).

Ann was the first female building society manageress in the UK before later becoming Sole Owner Operator & Certificated bailiff of MA Julious & Co Certificated Bailiffs & Enforcement Agents from the 1960s through to the 2000s (John Pye & Sons sister company also based at James Shipstone House in Nottingham). Julious were one of the preferred appointed Certificated Bailiffs for Poll Tax arrears collections in the late 1980s and early 1990s and HMRC VAT arrears collections over these decades. During this time Ann Pye became the first female President of the Enforcement Services Association (ESA), lobbying and advising Government on enforcement matters.

Ann has a unique knowledge and insight of both the enforcement and auction industries, one of only a handful of such people in the UK with such acute insight and experience. Ann now acts as a consultative Shareholder to John Pye & Sons, advising Senior Management on financial and legal matters regarding enforcement actions and oversees John Pye & Sons financial strategy management.
