Adam Pye, the Managing Director of John Pye & Sons Ltd, has been named one of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2023. The prestigious list, curated by LDC – a trusted investment partner of Lloyds Banking Group and supported by The Times, spotlights leaders driving growth and success in medium-sized businesses.

This recognition comes amid stiff competition, with nominees displaying exceptional drive and determination across the UK business landscape. The LDC Top 50 honorees are recognized for their efforts in fostering growth at home and abroad, contributing positively to society, and advancing sustainability goals.

As MD, Adam oversees diverse business aspects, including assets, property, luxury, government, vehicles, retail and trade. Under his leadership, the company witnessed a remarkable 67.3% increase in pre-tax profits from 2020 to 2022, along with a 28.7% surge in headcount.

With sales exceeding £100 million in the financial year ending July 2023, John Pye has ambitious plans for sustained growth, including reaching a £50 million turnover within the next two years, becoming a household name in the UK over the next five years, and expanding into more countries.
