John Pye supported the administrators of Made.com Design Ltd (in administration) in the realisation of a significant amount of stock. On appointment the stock was held in two third party owned warehouses with a high monthly rental cost. The team at John Pye worked quickly and collaboratively with both the company staff and the administrators team to move the stock to their own warehouse, saving significant costs for the administration and allowing for a more strategic sale of the stock over an extended period. They really went the extra mile throughout this process such as arranging extra shifts at their warehouses to accept deliveries at all times of day and night, retaining two of their logistics experts at the main Made.com warehouse for 8 weeks delivering great on the ground support and accepting loose loaded lorries which was a huge help to the Made.com team but made the logistics at John Pye’s end much more challenging. John Pye’s expertise and effective use of their social media and digital platforms has led to a significantly better outcome for the stock than the highest bids we received, ensuring we achieved the best result for creditors.
Alongside the stock realisation, John Pye assisted the valuation and sale of assets located at the company’s various properties across London. These were all of relatively small value but the service we received from John Pye was exceptional, assisting the administrators to realise value in the most effective way in very tight timescales.
