In December 2016 John Pye Auctions opened Europe’s then largest indoor general auction facility, located near Port Talbot, South Wales, and encompassing 316,000 sq. ft. of indoor saleroom space on a 14 acre site.

This John Pye Auctions Hub facility on the Kenfig Industrial Estate in South Wales is so substantial it has been christened ‘Auction City’ by John Pye Auctions was subject to major Phase 1 renovation works before opening for operations with three salerooms and a vehicle auction pound. The site now houses 8 full time salerooms, while also providing a huge area of indoor storage for clients.

The site is being utilised by some of the UK’s and Europe’s biggest Retail PLCs, Central Government Authorities and automotive dealers as a significant gateway to the UK secondary market and is attracting a significant growing customer base from across Wales and the South West of England.
